CBSE Class 12 Result: Meet the toppers

CBSE Class 12 result was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education on 26th of May 2018. 11,86,306 students appeared for the exams in 2018. As always, this year too, girls led the marks tally as compared to boys. The overall merit increased by a significant margin as compared to the CBSE class 12 result in 2017 standing at 83.01 as compared to 82.02 in 2017.

Scholarship Registration and Login

Girls secured a pass percentage of 88.31 in comparison to boys who stood at 78.99 in the overall country tally. This year’s CBSE topper scored 499 out of 500 losing just a single mark in the English paper. More than 12,000 students secured 95% and above marks and 72,000 students secured 90% and above marks in the CBSE class 12 results 2018. The overall merit increase by almost 1% and the overall pass percentage too improved. Students passed with flying colours thanks to the recent changes in the marking system including the grace marks and grading scheme. Humanities stream remained on top in 2018 continuing the winning streak from the previous year followed by students from Science and Commerce.
