Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must be a domicile/resident of Bihar
- Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category of Bihar
- Students have an annual family income of not more than ₹2,50,000 lakh from all sources

- Students must be a domicile/resident of Bihar
- Applicants must belong to the Backward Class (BC) or Economically Backward Class (EBC) category of Bihar

Vidyadhan Bihar Plus 2 (1st year) Program 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must have passed the Class 10/BSEB exam in the year 2024 from Bihar
- Applicants must have scored `75% marks or 7.5 CGPA in the Class 10/SSC examination (Note – The cutoff mark for students with disability is 65%. or 6.5 CGPA)
- Students must have an annual family income below ₹2,00,000 from all income sources
Awards: The students will receive ₹10,000 per annum.

Step 1: Registration for New Students
- Visit the official website.
- Click on the ‘Student’ tab and select ‘Registration for SC/ST students’
- Now click on ‘New Students Registration’ (if a new user)
- Fill in all the important details (name, DOB, bank account details, and more)
- Click on the submit tab
- Students will get a Login ID and Password
Step 2: Login Bihar PMS Portal
- Visit the official website
- Click on the Student tab and select ‘Registration for SC/ST students’
- Now Enter ‘User ID, Password, and Captcha Code’ and click on the ‘Login’ tab
Step 3: Fill out the Registration Form
- Visit the Registration Form link
- Tick all 3 tabs on the page to accept the terms and conditions. Click Continue
- Fill in all the important details on the registration form and click on the ‘Next’ button
Important Notes
- Before applying for the Bihar PMS scholarship, students must check the name of the institution in the institution’s registered list.
- The institution of the student is provisionally approved to enable a student to apply for a scholarship.
- The scholarship payment will only be released, once physical verification by the institute is done.
- Also, students must ensure that their bank accounts are active (the account must be in the student’s name).
- The application for the Post Matric Scholarship Bihar will be verified by both the duly constituted committee of the Bihar Government and institution authorities.
