Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College, Maharashtra
Introduced by the School Education Department, Government of Maharashtra, the scholarship aims at motivating meritorious students to further higher education. The students who have received 60% marks in the SSC examination and are studying in classes 11 and 12 will receive a scholarship of INR 50 per month for 10 months.
Open Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra
This is yet another scholarship for Maharashtra students from the Maharashtra state board belonging to economically backward class. The scholarship offers up to INR 160 per month for ten months to students who have scored at least 50% marks in their class 10 exam (in a single attempt) and have a family income of less than INR 30,000 from all sources.
Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship, Maharashtra
An initiative of the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, this is a scholarship for Maharashtra students from class 11 to postgraduation belonging to backward classes (SC, OBC, SBC, VJNT and Nav Buddha). The students who have passed class 10 can apply for the scholarship and stand a chance to win up to INR 1200 per month.
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, Maharashtra
To create a competitive spirit among the students belonging to special backward classes, the State’s Government has announced this scholarship for Maharashtra students. The students, belonging to SBC and VJNT categories, who have secured 75% and above marks in their class 10 exam and are studying in class 11 and 12 can stand a chance to win INR 3000 per annum.
