- Visit the National Portal of Transgender Persons – transgender.dosje.gov.in
- Click the Registration tab
- Enter the asked information like Name, Email ID, 10-digit contact number, state and district, and click on Register
- Once the registration is complete, an auto-generated email is sent to user with the registration credentials. The same is sent to the applicant via SMS too.
- Login using a password and email ID
- After logging in, select ‘Apply for TG Certificate/Card’ in the dashboard
- Select ‘New Application’ in Transgender Certificate/ID Card tab
- Click on ‘New application’ and then the category dropdown
- Select the option as per the requirement
- For Transgender certificate & Identity card, fill in the required information as per Transgender Persons Protection of Rights (Rules) 2020 and click on Save & Next
- Upload photograph, signature and affidavit (prescribed affidavit)
- Applicants need to declare their correct details and click on Submit Now
