New Delhi, 30 December 2021 – On Tuesday, 28th December 2021, Telangana Labour Welfare Board called for applications for merit scholarships, for workers and their children, for the academic year 2020-2021. The applications can be submitted specifically by the employees or their children working in shops and establishments, factories, motor transport undertakings, cooperative societies, charitable and other trusts. This merit-based scholarship will be provided to students from class 10 to postgraduate students, including candidates pursuing vocational training programs.
Telangana Labour Welfare Board Scholarship – Details
The scholarship offered by the Telangana labour department will be distributed in the following way:

Note:
- Candidates for scholarship awards will be selected based on the percentage of marks obtained by them in the qualifying class/examination.
- The scholarship amount will be transferred before Labour Day.
Telangana Labour Welfare Board Scholarship – How to Apply?
Candidates interested to apply for the sanction of scholarship can avail the application form by visiting the labour department offices of their areas. Being an offline process, applicants must submit the filled-in application along with the documents to the Assistant District Labour Commissioner on or before 15th February 2022.
Note: Incomplete or submission of more than one application will be rejected without any notice.

After filling in the scholarship application form, applicants must attach the below-mentioned documents to avoid cancellation of the form.
Attested Xerox Copies of:
- Marks memo of previous class
- Study certificate (for the current year)
- Aadhaar Card of worker and student
- Salary Certificate of the worker
