Letter of Recommendation (LOR):
A recommendation letter is like a ladder in the admission process of you. It is a letter in which the writer assesses the capabilities, qualities, and characteristics of the person being recommended in terms of that individual’s ability to perform a particular task or function. Students can ask for a reference letter from their respective teachers and professors.
Offer Letter:
One of the important documents in the process of studying abroad after taking admission is the offer letter. A student must have an offer letter from the recognized university. The university will issue you either Conditional or Unconditional Offer Letter, upon acceptance. Unconditional offer letter is that offer letter in which admission is confirmed on the subject to tuition fee deposit before the due date. While conditional offer letter requires most common conditions like Minimum IELTS/TOEFL Score or GRE/GMAT Score or Final Transcripts of your latest academic qualification, etc.
Academic Documents:
Another important document required in the process of studying abroad is academic documents. You must have an excellent academic record and all documents with you such as 10th and 12th Grade Transcripts & Certificate, Bachelor’s Transcripts & Degree (for Masters/PG Programs Only), Diploma Transcripts & Certificate (if available), Master’s Transcripts & Degree (if available) and Other Diplomas/Certificates (if available).
Work Experience Documents:
Another important document, which cannot be missed out, is the work experience document. Students need to have all the related documents with them such as latest joining letter, latest salary slip, and employment certificates from all previous employers.
Competitive Exam Scores:
If English is not your first language, then another document required in the process of studying abroad is competitive exam scores document. GMAT, GRE, and ELSAT and so on other courses are required by many universities, so make sure that the certificate is valid while submitting it to the university.
Financial Documents:
Financial document must be original for new applicants and should be less than six months. It includes Bank Statement, Sanction Letter of Education Loan, Proof of Investments, Property Documents, Income Tax Documents of the Self/Sponsors, CA Reports.
Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV):
As soon as you completed your schooling, it is important to make a powerful resume. I know its sound crazy to make a powerful resume but you can try at least to make it realistic as it is a document which is used to present student’s background and skillsets.
Visa:
Another one of the important factors in the process of studying abroad is to apply for visa. When you have collected all the necessary documents for applying to study abroad, it is necessary not to forgot to apply for visa after having offer letter in hand.
