Have you received a scholarship offer letter through Buddy4Study? If yes, here is a step-by-step guide to help you get the scholarship amount in your bank account.
STEP 1: Acknowledge the Offer Letter Received
Upon receiving a scholarship offer letter, you are advised to go through it properly and understand the requirements that have been outlined there. Once you have gone through it carefully, you are supposed to promptly acknowledge the same.
Here’s how you can acknowledge the offer letter –
➭ Open the scholarship offer letter email and go through it properly. The email consists of two links, one for downloading the scholarship offer letter with associated terms and conditions and the other to accept the offer. 
➭ Click Link 1 to download the scholarship offer letter. Read the associated terms and conditions carefully. Keep all the required documents handy with you.
➭ Click on the Link 2 to confirm your acceptance. Now, you will be redirected to a ‘Scholarship Acceptance, Undertaking and Publicity Authorization’ page. (Reference image below)
➭ Go through the details carefully. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Accept the terms and conditions and select your registered mobile number for OTP verification. Click on the ‘Send’ button to receive an OTP. (Reference Image Below)
➭ Enter the OTP received to accept your scholarship offer and proceed further. (Reference Image Below)
➭ You will now be redirected to the next step wherein you can download the undertaking PDF and click on the ‘Continue to Next Steps’ button to proceed with the documentation. (Reference Image Below)
STEP 2: Gather and Provide Relevant Documents
The next step after acknowledging the scholarship offer is to provide the necessary documents that have been highlighted in the offer letter. The details of these documents have been mentioned below –
➭ Bank Document: You can either provide the image of the first page of your bank passbook or a cancelled cheque to confirm the bank account details. This is a mandatory document.
➭ Fee Receipt or Fee Structure: In cases where the scholarship amount varies (often depending on the tuition fees or other educational expenses), you are required to submit your fee receipt or the fee structure of your educational institution.
➭ Bonafide Letter: If you are unable to provide the fee receipt or fee structure, please follow these steps:
- Print either of the documents below:
- Fill in the blank spaces in the chosen document.
- Obtain the signature from the head of your school/institution.
- Take a picture of the signed document.
- Upload the image to your Buddy4Study dashboard.
Here’s how you can upload the required documents –
➭ Click on the ‘Continue to Next Steps’ button or click on the ‘Awarded Scholarships’ section of your Buddy4Study dashboard to upload the required documents.
➭ Upload each required document one-by-one in their respective section.
STEP 3: Scholarship Disbursement
After completing step 1 and 2, you may have to wait for at least 10 days for scholarship disbursement subject to document verification and availability of funds with your scholarship provider.
