New Delhi, 14 December 2021 – The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in alliance with National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT), has announced to distribute 12 lakh education technology free course coupons to socially and economically disadvantaged students. With the help of the offered coupons, poor school and college students can attend AI and AI-related courses free of cost.
In a notification, AICTE stated that the scheme will be implemented as a Public-Private Partnership model between the education technology companies and the government.
The ministry said, “NEAT brings the best education technology courses in pedagogy on a single platform for the convenience of the learners. Furthermore, technology courses use artificial intelligence for customised learning and e-content in niche areas with highly employable skills.”
Additionally, NEAT has also invited various tech firms to showcase their products on a national portal developed for the learners.
Objectives of the NEAT Free Coupons Scheme

- The main objective of the free coupon distribution scheme is to help students pursue education on artificial intelligence as per their requirements, thereby making learning a more personalised and customised experience for them.

Details of the NEAT Free Online Education Coupons
Apart from offering coupons to underprivileged students who want to pursue higher studies, the scheme also includes free coupons for existing students of higher education. The distribution of free coupons would be done through the NEAT portal. Candidates who are interested in availing the benefits can register through the AICTE internship website link. The registration portal is currently open (started from 11th December 2021) and the application deadline is 17th December 2021. The selection will be based on student information shared by educational institutions.
