E-District Scholarship 2023 – Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of India.
  • Candidates must be belonging to the reserved category and possess a government-affiliated caste certificate.
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a course while applying for the scholarship.
  • The annual family income of candidates must not exceed INR 2 lakhs from all sources.

E-District Scholarship 2023 – Application Process

The steps to follow for applying to the E-District Scholarship have been mentioned below.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – http://www.scholarship.gov.in/ 

Step 2: Next, on the homepage, they need to click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.

Step 3: After checking the terms and conditions on the page that has appeared, candidates need to check the boxes for the relevant mentioned options.

 Step 4: Next, they need to click on the ‘Continue’ tab.

Step 5: Then, they need to fill up the registration form.

Step 6: candidates need to fill up the following details –

  • State

  • Name of the Student
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Bank IFSC Code
  • Bank Account Number
  • Identification Details

Step 7: After filling in the details, candidates will receive an OTP that they need to use to register.

Step 8: Once done, candidates will complete the registration process and can apply for a scholarship.

Selection Procedure

  • Once candidates apply for scholarship programs, the selection council is in the charge of reviewing the application form.
  • The selection process will be based on the overall academic merits, performance and annual family income of the applicants in the last course
  • Once the selection list is prepared, it will be released to the official website of the scholarship portal
  • The list will be available from April for candidates to check.
  • Selected candidates will be able to avail of the rewards from May or June.

  • Selected candidates will receive E-District certificate along with the stationary allowance and fee reimbursement.
  • Selected candidates will receive variable monetary aid depending on the courses they are pursuing, academic merit and financial condition.
