The application deadline for the CG Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students has been extended till January 15, 2026. This collaborative initiative by the Department of ST and SC Development and the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh provides financial assistance to students pursuing post-secondary education.

Eligible students studying in government and non-government colleges, universities, engineering, medical, nursing colleges, polytechnics, ITI and other recognized institutions of the state can now apply and register online for this scholarship.

CG Post Matric Scholarship 2025-26 – Eligibility criteria

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
A valid caste certificate must be issued by a competent authority.

- ₹1.00 lakh for OBC students.

Once the application form is submitted, no changes can be made. Therefore, it is essential to carefully review all details before final submission.
Registration is considered provisional until the applicant successfully completes Aadhaar e-KYC authentication. Final approval will only be granted after this step.
Aadhaar e-KYC authentication is mandatory. It verifies the student’s personal details and ensures the authenticity of the application, thereby maintaining the integrity of the scholarship system.
The scholarship amount will be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the student’s Aadhaar-linked active bank account.
