The cost of education continues to rise, making an MBA degree a distant dream for many middle-class students. To turn their dream into a reality, the Capital First — a renowned financial institution that specializes in providing debt financing to Consumers and MSMEs in India – has recently launched the Capital First MBA Scholarships 2018-20 for graduate students who are willing to pursue an MBA degree in the academic year 2018-19.
Under the Capital First MBA Scholarship Program, 110 deserving students belonging to financially challenged backgrounds will receive a scholarship worth INR 1 lakh per annum to pursue their MBA at India’s top business schools.
With an objective to give access to higher education for needy students, the scholarship seeks to provide meaningful financial assistance to meritorious students from the economically weaker sections of society, so they can afford admissions to reputed institutions offering an MBA degree or equivalent.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must be citizens of India. Their annual family income must exceed INR 6 lakhs. The candidate should be pursuing/applying to an MBA degree program or equivalent at a reputed institution in India during the academic year 2018-19. The candidate must have successfully completed his/her graduation and should be enrolled in the batch of 2018-20.
Terms and Conditions
Students will be selected strictly on the basis of their financial need.
The amount of the scholarship will be provided for the books and tuition fees of the course.
The final disbursement of the scholarship will be based on the submission of fee receipt evidencing part payment by the applicant.
