Top scholarships for students of Rajasthan

Known as the ‘Land of Maharajas’, Rajasthan is the largest state in the country. Covered in an area of about 342,239 sq. km, the state is ornamented by its majestic forts, palaces and monuments. Talking about the education scenario of the state, Rajasthan consists of 9 universities, more than 250 colleges, 55000 primary and 7400 secondary schools. The state has about 41 engineering colleges as well.

The literacy rate of the state has been increased from 38% to 61% in the recent times. In the near future the state will set a remarkable percentage of literacy rate so that each and every candidate gets access to primary education. Post-Matric & CM Scholarship, Rajasthan

Introduced by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Government of Rajasthan, the Post-Matric & CM Scholarship, Rajasthan is for the students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Special Class/Other Backward Class/Financial Backward Class/Denotified Tribes/ Nomadic or Semi-nomadic tribes and studying in Class 11 or 12. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students belonging to these categories to pursue higher education.

Rajasthan Paperless Post Matric Scholarship

Announced by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Government of Rajasthan, the Paperless Post Matric Scholarship is for the students of Class XI and for students who belong to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Special Class/ Other Backward Class/Financially Backward Class/Denotified Tribes/Nomadic/Semi-nomadic Tribes.

The objective of this scheme is to minimize the dropout rate and increase the transition from elementary to the secondary stage by providing financial help in their education.

Chief Minister's Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan

The Government of Rajasthan has introduced Chief Minister's Higher Education Scholarship Scheme for students who have passed Class 12 this year with minimum 60% marks and come under the merit list of first 1 Lac students whose annual family income is not more than INR 2.50 Lac.

AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme in India

Airport Authority of India (AAI) invites applications for AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme in India 2018-19 from Indian citizens above 14 years of age. The aim of the scholarship is to enhance sporting standards in AAI by encouraging youth talent in India. Players who represent India in Sub-Junior / Junior / Senior National Championships, All India Inter University Tournaments, National School Games in the last 2 years from Rajasthan state can apply for the scholarship.

Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship Test

Modi Foundation invites applications for Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship Test from Class 8 to 12 students. The scholarship has been introduced to fulfill students dream of education and also to support their parents. The core philosophy of the Modi Foundation is that 'No youth should be deprived and left behind from education.
