Empowering women through Fair and Lovely Scholarship program

With a view to empower the women of India through education and career development, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) laid out the foundation of Fair & Lovely Scholarship in the year 2003. The scholarship program has played a major role in the process of economic empowerment of Women in India. The foundation has been a key role in helping underprivileged girls from the lowest economic strata of the society and help them fulfill their dreams of higher education.

The fair and lovely foundation has always believed that by educating girls, we are actually helping to build a better society. In this long run of more than 10 years, the scholarship program has touched the lives of many young women and has helped them to reach their milestone.

The scholarship program has supported many young girls who have passed 12th class with the scholarship course fees, accommodation, local travel, books and stationery costs, depending upon their needs. All the candidates who are selected for the scholarship go through a stringent round of screening-and-interview process and only the deserving candidate make it to the final round of interview.
