Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur

School of Planning and Architecture – SPA

Located in New Delhi, the SPA Delhi is a reputed institute, specializing in the field of Planning and Architecture. The institution has various undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes such as Bachelor of Architecture, Planning, Master of Architecture (Architectural Conservation), Master of Design (Industrial Design), Master of Urban Design, Master of Building Engineering and Management etc.

Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi

Popularly known as BIT, the Birla Institute of Technology was established by Philanthropist- Industrialist B M Birla in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi. Here, students get admission to various courses on the merit basis assessed by All India Rank(AIR) in JEE-Main-CSAB and AIPMT for its UG courses. Along with Engineering, Medical, Science, Management and I.T. courses, the institute also offers courses in Architecture  such as such as B. Arch (5 yrs), Master of Planning (Transport Planning) (2 yrs), (Urban Planning) (2 yrs).

Chandigarh College of Architecture – CCA

With an enrollment of about 200 graduates, the Chandigarh College of Architecture covers the north-western region of India involving Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir. The college offers a 5 year programme in Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch). The course is divided into 10 semesters: The first to sixth involves 3 years and the seventh to tenth semester involves two years.

National Institute of Technology – NIT Tiruchirappalli

Popularly known as NIT Trichy, it is a public engineering institution located in Tamil Nadu and has a branch in Noida also. The institute has 16 departments in Engineering, Humanities, Applied Sciences, Management programs, giving a strong emphasis on scientific and technological education and research. The undergraduate students get admission to various courses through JEE (Main), graduates through graduate aptitude test in engineering and CAT. Other than the engineering and management courses, the institute also offers Architecture courses such as B. Arch (5 years).

National Institute of Technology, NIT Calicut

Established in 1961 in Calicut, the college started with its undergraduate courses and slowly increased to masters. The college has various courses to offer in Architecture, Engineering, Science, Management, Information Technology. The Architecture course involves B. Arch of 5 years, Ph.D. (Architecture) of 2 years and Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management of 1 year.
