E-Grantz Portal Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the E-Grantz scholarships, each applicant must meet a set of established requirements. The eligibility criteria of E-Grantz are as follows:
- Applicants must be domiciled in Kerala.
- Candidates must belong to one of the following categories:
- Socially Backward Communities (SBC)
- Economically Backward Communities (EBC)
- Other Backward Classes (OBC)
- Scheduled Caste (SC)
- Other Eligible Communities (OEC)
- Students must be pursuing pre-matric or post-matric education from a recognized board or university are eligible to apply.
- Admission must be secured under the merit or reservation quota.
- Applicants must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in their classes each month.
- For OBC category students, the annual family income must not exceed ₹1,00,000 for +2, degree, postgraduate, and professional courses.
- For students from other eligible categories, the income limit is also ₹1,00,000 per annum for the same levels of education.
- Eligible courses include Higher Secondary, VHSE, Diploma, Degree, Postgraduate, Doctoral, Polytechnic, and Professional programs.
Note: SC and OEC category students are exempted from income restrictions.

Below is a detailed step-by-step application procedure for E-Grantz scholarships.
Step 1: Visit the E-Grantz 3.0 portal.
Step 2: Click on the ‘One-Time Registration’ button located at the bottom corner of the homepage.
Step 3: On the page that opened, fill in the required details like Aadhaar card number and Applicant name.Step 4: After filling the required details, click on “Validate Aadhaar” to verify the aadhaar. Additionally, do not forget to click the consent box.
Step 5: After validating your aadhaar card, a drop down list will appear where you need to fill in the additional data. Fill in the required data there.
Step 6: Click on “Register” to complete the registration.
Step 7: After registering, this page automatically opens up. Fill in the details for a successful login.
Step 8: After successful login, the students are required to complete their profile. Fill in all required details mentioned in the sections.
Step 9 After completing the profile, click on “Save”.
Step 10: Then click on “Apply for Scholarships”, A list of scholarships for which the students are eligible for will appear. Select the scholarship you want to apply for and start the application. Finally, submit the application form.
