SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2024-25

Top awards at the international and zonal levels will be given to students who will win level 2 (Class 3-12). Class toppers and students in Class 1 and 2 will receive their awards based on their performance in level 1.

Each winner will be eligible for only one award or scholarship per exam. Winners will receive the higher-level award if they qualify for it. For example, the top three international rank holders will receive awards or scholarships based on their international ranks. Awards or scholarships earned for zonal ranks will be given to the next-highest-ranking student in that zone. Similarly, the class topper award or scholarship earned by a zonal or international award winner will be given to the next-highest ranking student in their class.

Additionally, all participants will receive a participation certificate, and students who participate in Level 2 will be awarded a merit certificate.

The awards will be given as follows:

At International Level:-

2nd	₹25,000 each, a silver medal*, and a certificate of outstanding performance	12
3rd	₹10,000 each, a bronze medal*, and a certificate of outstanding performance	12

*In case two or more students achieve the same international rank, the cash award/scholarship in the applicable category will be distributed as follows:

• For up to 10 students securing the same rank, the award/scholarship amount will be distributed equally. In addition, each winner will be awarded a medal in the applicable category and a certificate.
• In case 11 or more students secure the same rank, each winner will be awarded gifts worth ₹1,000, a medal in the applicable category and a certificate.

 

At Zonal Level:-

• For up to 5 students securing the same rank, the award amount will be distributed equally. In addition, each winner will be awarded a medal in the applicable category and a certificate.
• If 6 or more students secure the same rank, each winner will be awarded gifts worth ₹1,000, a medal in the applicable category and a certificate.
• For single-level exams: A medal of distinction & certificate of distinction will be awarded for performance.
• For two-level exams: Zonal medals & certificates of zonal excellence will be awarded for second-level performance.
