Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority (State Sector), Uttarakhand 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Uttarakhand Minorities Commission to financially help the students belonging to minority communities of the state including Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain who are studying in Class 1 to 10. The scholarship aims to support the education of minority community students belonging to Uttarakhand. The selected students will receive a scholarship of up to ₹120 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Uttarakhand
- belong to minority communities including Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain of Uttarakhand
- be studying in Class 1 to 10 in a recognised institution of the state
- have passed the last qualifying examination
- have an annual family income of less than ₹ 1,00,000
The following students are ineligible to apply for the scholarship scheme:-- Applicants who are the recipients of any other scholarship in the academic year 2023 are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Students should not be studying in more than one institute in an academic session.
Benefits The selected scholars will receive the scholarship amount in the following manner:-
Class Scholarship amount per month (for a maximum of up to 12 months) Class 1 to 5 ₹ 50 Class 6 to 8 ₹ 80 Class 9 to 10 ₹ 120 Documents - A passport-size photograph
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- Marksheet, diploma or degree of previously passed examination
How can you apply? Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner' and click on 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Select the respective Aadhaar option, enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.Note - All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.
