NIT Rourkela Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is for postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the project titled, "Implantable Closed-loop Diabetes Management Device [Project code: SR/21/BM/003]". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month for 1st year and 2nd year.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Basic Science or graduate/postgraduate degree in professional courses
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
- Have previous research experience related to the project
*Final year students (B.Tech./M.Tech) who are graduating in May/June 2021 with GATE qualification are encouraged to apply
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month for 1st year and 2nd year.

Registrar, SRICCE, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela–769 008 on or before 15.06.2021.Note - The cover should be superscribed clearly the post applied for & the Name of the Project with the Project code.

The selected candidates for the interview will be intimated on 17.06.2021 by email.
Selection Criteria
The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

- Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.
- The candidate will be shortlisted based on the merit and need of the project.
- The selected candidate is expected to register for a Ph.D. degree as per Institute norms.
