NIT Rourkela Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering (DBME) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is offering the opportunity to graduate/postgraduate degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Development of a Force Plate Sensor cum Kinematic Sensor Node for Comprehensive Gait Profiling for Early Detection of the Locomotive Syndrome". The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 for the 1st and 2nd years and INR 35,000 for the 3rd year.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc.Engg/M.Pharm/M. Arch/M. Plan/M. Des degree in relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks, OR
- Have 1st class in both B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg/M.Sc./B.Pharm/MCA/B. Arch/ B. Des or equivalent degree, and M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc. Engg/M. Pharm/ M. Arch/M. Plan/M. Des from a recognized Technical Institute/University, OR
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg/M. Sc./B. Pharm/MCA/B. Arch/B. Des or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with CGPA of 7.0 or 65% marks.
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Basic Sciences with CGPA 7.0 or 65% marks in relevant discipline with a valid GATE score
Desirable Qualifications/Experiences -
- M.E./M.Tech degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent with valid GATE score
- Previous research experience related to the project is preferred
- Final year students (B.Tech/M.Tech) who are graduating in May/June 2021 with GATE qualified can also apply for the post
Benefits The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 for the 1st and 2nd years and INR 35,000 for the 3rd year.
