Murdoch University’s School of Engineering and Information Technology invites applications for Murdoch University SEIT Scholarship for Scientific Excellence 2020 from undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. The selected undergraduate students will receive an award of AUD 20,000 will be given whereas postgraduate scholars will be entitled to receive an amount of AUD 10,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be an international student
- Study full time at the Perth campus
- Be commencing a Murdoch University Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in one of the majors offered by the School of Engineering and Information Technology
- Have achieved an IELTS of 6.5 or above
For a UG scholarship, an applicant must:
- Have scored an average grade of 92% or higher, in their prior completed course; or
- Have achieved equivalent exceptional performance in any STEM discipline prior to applying to Murdoch University
For a PG scholarship, an applicant must:
- Have achieved an average grade of HD or GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent in an undergraduate course
Benefits - Undergraduate scholars will be awarded a sum of AUD 20,000
- Postgraduate scholars will be awarded a sum of AUD 10,000
- Additionally, scholars interested in research will be paired with an academic mentor for the duration of their study and will be given an additional amount of AUD 3,000 for travel and other research-related costs
Documents - A personal statement document
- Academic transcripts
- Reference letter from a current or former employer, or alternatively from an academic staff member that will serve as an academic reference

Terms and Conditions
- The recipient must maintain a full-time enrolment in the program offered by School of Engineering and Information Technology at Murdoch University during the entire tenure of the scholarship.
- The recipient must inform the Student Financial Support Office in writing regarding any change that may impact his/her scholarship status.
- If the recipient does not maintain satisfactory academic record, his/her scholarship shall be terminated.
