JNU New Delhi Special Centre for Molecular Medicine Research Associateship 2022 is an opportunity offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on SERB-CRG sponsored project (CRG/2021/000238) titled - "Translating the Phylogenetic Affinities Between a Plant Pathogenic Oomycete Phytophthora Infestans and a Human Pathogen Plasmodium Falciparum to Reveal Evolutionary Convergence in Virulence Secretion Using In-silico, Proteomic and Metabolomic Approaches". The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 47,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Biotechnology/Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology or related areas with at least 2 years of work experience
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have experience in gene cloning and mutagenesis, recombinant protein expression and purification is desired.
Note - Preference will be given to candidates having first-hand experience in handling and culturing Phytophthora or related plant pathogens under laboratory conditions, their genetic mutagenesis and imaging by fluorescence microscopy techniques on a case-by-case basis.
Benefits The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 47,000 per month plus 24% HRA.
