IIT Hyderabad Department of Biotechnology Research Associateship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - ICMR-DHR-Center of Excellence, IIT Hyderabad. The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 48,000 per month plus HRA (as per ICMR norms).

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 40 years as on the last day of application
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology or allied life sciences from a recognized university or institute with at least 1 publication as first author in peer-reviewed journals of international repute
Essential Experiences -
- Have demonstrated excellent technical and communication skills via presentations in conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Be experienced in either 1 of the following with eagerness to learn the other -
- Experienced in zebrafish handling, breeding and microinjection OR
- Cell culture and molecular biology techniques such as mammalian cell biology assays (proliferation, Immunocytochemistry, migration), real-time PCR, western blots and DNA/RNA isolation
Note - Candidates having provisional Ph.D. degree certificates can also apply.
Benefits The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 48,000 per month plus HRA (as per ICMR norms).

Selection Criteria
The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online, followed by the second round of interview in person at IIT Hyderabad campus by a committee.

Terms and Conditions
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in person.
- The hostel will not be available immediately but subsequently.
- The appointment will be on purely temporary basis for a period of 1 year starting July 2022 extendable for another 2 years based on the performance and funding.
