IISER Tirupati Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Mechanistic Insights of Nitrite Reductase (NiR) & Nitric Oxide Monooxygenation (NOM) Reactions: Exploring the Interconversion of Nitric Oxide and Nitrite". The selected fellow will receive a consolidated pay of up to INR 47,000 per month plus 8% HRA.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertisement
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in the field of Experimental Chemistry (Bioinorganic, Co-ordination Chemistry, Inorganic/Organic Catalysis) or Theoretical Chemistry
- Have submitted their thesis and awaiting award of Ph.D. degree
- Provide evidence of having carried out high-quality research during or after their Ph. D. program.
Benefits The selected candidates will receive the benefits in the following way -
- The candidate who produces the Ph.D. certificate will receive INR 47,000 per month and 8 % HRA.
- The candidates whose Ph. D.degree is awaited* will receive INR 35,000 per month and 8 % HRA.
- A nominal research grant will be available under this program.
Note* - The candidate must produce a letter from competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.

- Photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, experience etc.

The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

- The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately upon receipt of the offer.
- No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
- The relevant documents will be collected at an appropriate stage.
