The Royal Holloway, University of London invites applications for Herringham Scholarships, Royal Holloway University of London 2021-22 from students who are pursuing/ have completed a bachelor's degree and wish to study a master's degree program within the Department of History at Royal Holloway.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a conditional/unconditional offer for a masters degree program within the Department of History at Royal Holloway
- Apply for the scholarship through the applicant portal using the Royal Holloway online scholarship application form
- Be pursuing or have completed a First Class Honours Degree from NAAC grade A institution with more than 65% of marks (CGPA 6.5+) or NAAC grade B institution with more than 70% marks (CGPA 7.0)
Benefits Each of the three selected students will receive a tuition fee waiver of GBP 7,900 for only one year of study.
Documents - A scholarship statement of not more than 500 words stating the academic achievements the applicant is particularly proud of, the reason for choosing the degree the applicant has applied for, how the applicant will use the MA in future research & career path, and how will the scholarship help him/her achieve it

How can you apply? Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: The applicant must visit Royal Holloway Direct and enter the registered email id and password to apply for the scholarship.
Step 2: The applicant needs to submit a scholarship statement, transcripts and two academic references to support the scholarship application.
Note: The academic references must be sent directly by the recommenders through email to pg.history@royalholloway.ac.uk. The subject line of the email must contain the applicant’s name.

Selection will be based on eligibility criteria.
Terms and Conditions
- It is the responsibility of students to ensure that they provide up-to-date bank details to the University so as to allow making scholarship payments on time.
- All the cash awards will be paid into a UK bank account only.
- The scholarship payment cannot be made into the account of another person.
- Any tuition fee reductions will be applied automatically by Royal Holloway.
- Royal Holloway reserves the right to withdraw a scholarship from any scholar who is found to have misled Royal Holloway about any aspect of their eligibility and to seek repayment of any monies already paid.
- Scholars may be asked to participate in occasional promotional activities and to be interviewed, photographed, and/or filmed for promotional purposes and prior consent of the scholars will be requested for this.
- The decision of the scholarship selection committee is final and scholarship applicants have no right of appeal against the decision not to offer a scholarship.
