Hartpury University GREAT Scholarships 2024 is an opportunity offered by Hartpury University in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, for students from India and China (mainland) who aspire to pursue one-year postgraduate courses at the university. A minimum award of £10,000 for a year of study will be awarded to the selected students.
The GREAT Scholarships 2024 programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

Hartpury University GREAT Scholarships 2024
Deadline31-May-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a passport holder of India or China (mainland only)
- have received and accepted an offer to study a full-time postgraduate qualification at Hartpury University
- have a minimum academic qualification equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree
Note:-
- Applicants must have paid the full tuition fee deposit (50% of the first-year tuition fee).
- Applicants must not be availing benefits of any other scholarship, bursary, funding, or discount.
Benefits Under this scholarship program, a minimum of £10,000 will be awarded to two selected students from India and China (mainland).
Note:-
- The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount only and cannot be used in place of any required deposit.
- The tuition fee discount will be deducted from the second tuition fee installment.
- Once awarded the scholarship, a revised invoice for the first-year tuition fee will be received by the student. No cash alternative is available.
Documents - Academic transcripts, including marksheets and certificates
- A personal statement stating the reasons the applicant wants to pursue the qualification
- Details of a referee
- Any work or industry experience
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Read the details carefully and click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and click on 'Submit'.

Selection Criteria
There are no specific criteria for the selection of the scholarship, preference will be given to individuals demonstrating passion, innovative ideas, and the potential to positively impact the industry for a better future.
The GREAT Scholarship committee will determine successful applicants. Their decision is final, and there is no right to appeal.
Terms and Conditions
- Future requests for further funding will not be considered under this scheme.
- The applicant must meet all financial requirements as part of their visa application for studying in the UK.
- If an applicant is awarded a scholarship and wishes to defer their entry to the university, the scholarship will not be transferred. However, they remain eligible to apply for scholarships applicable for the next academic year.
- The applicant must be confirmed as an international student from China (mainland only) or India for fee-paying purposes (this information is contained in the offer letter).
- The GREAT Scholarship is only available for students who are coming to study full-time at Hartpury University for at least a full academic year.
- In the event of withdrawal, the international scholarship will be retracted, and the applicant will be expected to pay the international tuition fee depending on the duration studied, as detailed in Hartpury’s tuition fee policy.
