Griffith University invites applications for Bachelor of Medical Science Scholarship, 2019-20 from secondary school leavers to pursue Bachelor of Medical Science programme. The scholarship programme offers high-achieving students the opportunity to progress directly into the Doctor of Medicine (5099). The selected students will receive USD 10,000 in total for pursuing Bachelor of Medical Science.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Have applied for admission, or have a conditional or unconditional offer from the University, for entry into the Bachelor of Medical Science
- Fulfilled all appropriate entry requirements for the degree programme which would also include results of previous study and English Language proficiency according to Griffith University's entry requirements
- Be enrolling as a new full-time student in the Bachelor of Medical Science degree in Trimester 1 2020 at Griffith University
- Not be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand
Benefits The selected students will receive a scholarship worth USD 10,000 in total to be used for tuition fees. Two payments of USD 5,000 will be made in the first trimester and second trimester of the program.
Documents - A certified/attested copy of the academic results
- A certified/attested copy of the English test results
- A portfolio of work or audition in case of music and visual arts application

Step 2: Choose the degree and check entry requirements.
Step 3: Prepare relevant documents and visit the international online application portal. Alternatively, candidates can also apply through an agent.
Step 4: Login using existing credentials or register as a new user.
Step 5: Fill in the form and upload the relevant documents.
Step 6: Submit the application.Note: Candidates will need to pay a non-refundable application fee of AUD 50.
Important Dates
- Application deadline (for trimester 1): Friday, 29th November 2019
- Selected candidates to be notified by 13th December 2019
Selection Criteria
Students will be assessed and selected based on the recommendations of the University panel.
Terms and Conditions
- To maintain scholarship eligibility, students need to maintain a good academic record and pass all the courses in each trimester
- Students must be enrolled full-time to receive the benefits of this scholarship.
- There are only a limited number of scholarships.
- Deferral of scholarships is not permitted.
- Applicants must ensure that all the documents are attested and certified.
