The University of Glasgow, UK is offering 4 exclusive scholarships inviting the applications from sufferers of the floods that recently impacted the Indian state of Kerala. The aim of the scholarship is to help and assist students from this area who are facing challenges in progressing on to post-graduate education.
Glasgow Kerala Scholarship 2019-20, UK
DeadlineClosed Eligibility This scholarship is eligible for students who:
- Demonstrate academic excellence and secure grades equivalent to a degree equal to a UK 2:1 Hons or better
- Hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught programme at the University of Glasgow
- Can be classed as International Students for fee purposes
- Are residents in India (and from the state of Kerala) at the time of applying
Benefits A total of 4 scholarships will be awarded worth GBP 10,000 each.
Documents The applicant needs to attach two documents demonstrating proof of address from August 2018 until the date of application. These can include:
- Utility bill
- Phone bill
- Mortgage statement/lease agreement
- Permanent driving license
- Aadhaar card
How can you apply? The following steps should be followed by the candidate:
Step 1: Complete the application form carefully.
Step 2: Submit the online application.
Step 3: Mail the required documents along with Full Name and Student ID to scholarships@glasgow.ac.ukNote- Applications will not be considered without a submitted online application form and the supporting documents.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: 30th April 2019
- Tentative Result Date: 30th May 2019
Terms and Conditions
- The candidate should be an International student.
- The candidate needs to be a resident of India, precisely the state of Kerala.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected immediately.
- The documents are to be mailed as soon as possible after submitting the application form.
