ETDC-CFR Apprenticeship for Engineering Students 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Electronics and Test Development Centre (ETDC)/Centre for Reliability (CFR)*, Chennai. Apprentices will be shortlisted through the NATS portal. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 9,000 and an experience certificate.
Electronics and Test Development Centre (ETDC)/Centre for Reliability (CFR)* is an organisation of the Government of India under the STQC Directorate which specialises in comprehensive testing of Electronics, Electro-mechanical and IT products as per the national standards of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and international standards like Electro-technical Commission (IEC) and other company standards.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be between 22 years and 26 years of age
- be a resident of Tamil Nadu
- have passed B.E degree in 2021/2022
Note - Candidates registered under the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) will only be eligible.
Benefits Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of INR 9,000 and an experience certificate once they successfully complete the apprenticeship.
Note - Selected candidates will also get 1 casual leave (CL) each month and Emergency Leave for 15 days for the one year of the apprenticeship program.

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below-
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Enroll’ option on the top-right corner of the page and click it. (Note - Applicants who are already registered on the BOAT portal can use valid credentials to log in)
Step 4: Fill in the required information to complete the enrollment process.Candidates need to attend the selection process on 16th June 2023 at the below -mentioned address -

Selection Criteria
The candidate's documents will be verified based on which candidates will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews. Once, the candidates pass the interviews, a medical examination will be done before joining the apprenticeship program.
