Durham University Business School invites applications for PhD Scholarships 2019 from commencing PhD students. This scholarship aims to support outstanding students who wish to pursue a research career in academia, government, business and research organizations. Selected candidates will receive adequate research benefits.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Have completed post-graduation
- Apply for a place at Durham University Business School
- Submit a full research proposal (2,000 words maximum)
Benefits The selected students will get adequate research benefits.
Documents - Research Proposal of no more than 2,000 words
- A CV (2 pages maximum)
- Covering Letter
How can you apply? Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Click on the link to apply for a place at Durham University Business School.
Step 2: Indicate your willingness to be considered for the Research Centre Scholarship in the funding section of the application form.
Step 3: Submit the application form.
Step 4: After successful admission application, the students must prepare the scholarship application with all supporting documents.
Step 5: Depending on the research centre to which applying, email the completed scholarship application as specified below -- If applying for Centre for Microeconomics( Dream); Experimental Methods in Business Research Group (EMBR) or Centre for Macroeconomic and Policy (CEMAP), send the application to business.dept.econfin@durham.ac.uk.
- If applying for Marketing and International Business (MIB) centre, send the application to business.dept.mgmtmrktg@durham.ac.uk.
- If applying for Ethical Finance, Governance and Accountability Centre, send the application to business.dept.accounting@durham.ac.uk.

Selection Criteria
Selections will be based on the research potential of the candidates.
Terms and Conditions
- Successful scholarship applicants will be notified by email.
- Selected students need to participate in a large number of research centre and departmental activities, such as workshops, seminar series, and conferences.
