DA-IICT Gandhinagar Merit & Merit-cum-Means Scholarships (Data Science) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Gandhinagar to M.Sc (Data Science) students. The number of scholarships will be limited to 7 (seven only) for a batch. The selected candidate will receive variable awards.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be an M.Sc (Data Science) student
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university with an aggregate of 60% or its equivalent as per the norms set by the degree-granting institute/university in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics and Operational Research OR
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University with an aggregate of 60% or its equivalent as per the norms set by the degree-granting institute/university in Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Electrical Engineering
- Be a top 2 SPI 8/10 and above scorer (For Merit Scholarships)
- Have secured 7/10 and above SPI score with an annual family income between INR 4.5 lakh - 6 lakh (For Merit-cum-Means Scholarships)
- Have secured 7/10 and above with an annual family income below INR 4 lakh (For Merit-cum-Means Scholarships)
Benefits The selected candidates will receive the in the following ways -
- Merit Scholarships - Full semester tuition fee
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarships - 50% of the semester tuition fee
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarships - 70% of the semester tuition fee

Step 3: Fill in the required information to 'Register'. (Note - If the applicant is already registered, kindly login using valid credentials.)
Step 4: Once registered successfully, log in with valid credentials and fill in the required details.
Step 5: Pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,200 + 18% GST and submit the application.

Entrance test (tentative - afternoon session) - 12th June 2022
Announcement of list of candidates called for interview (tentative) - 17th June 2022
Date of Interview (tentative) - 23-24 June 2022
Announcement of Result (tentative) - 28th June 2022
Commencement of academic session - To be determined
Selection Criteria
The selection will be based on their performance in the entrance test. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the aggregate score of the entrance test and the interview.
Terms and Conditions
- The student should have been registered for the semester subsequent to which the scholarship is awarded and should have paid the tuition and other fees in full by the given due date.
- The student should PASS in all courses including course(s) audited, and should not have any backlog, and/or disciplinary case(s) being initiated or recorded against the student.
- The student should not be the recipient of any other Scholarship.
- The selected student for an award has to submit an undertaking stating that the student will be bound by the regulations of the Scholarship Scheme.
