AAI Diploma/Graduate Apprenticeship 2022 is an opportunity offered by the Airports Authority of India, New Delhi (a statutory body under the ownership of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India) for graduate degree/technical diploma holders. The selected candidates will receive up to INR 15,000 per month.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, an applicant must -

    • be an Indian national from the northern region
    • have a maximum age of 26 years on 31st August 2022
    • hold a full-time (regular) four years degree or three years (regular) Diploma in Engineering in any of the following streams, recognized by AICTE, GOI:
      • Civil (Graduate)
      • Civil (Diploma)
      • Electrical (Graduate)
      • Electrical (Diploma)
      • Electronics (Graduate)
      • Electronics (Diploma)
      • Computer Science
      • Information Technology (Graduate)
      • Computer Science/ Information Technology (Diploma)
      • Aeronautical/Aerospace/ Aircarft Maintenance (Graduate)
      • Aeronautics/Aerospace/ Aircraft Maintenance (Diploma)
      • Architecture (Graduate)
      • Architecture (Diploma)
      • Mechanical/ Automobile (Graduate)
      • Mechanical/ Automobile (Diploma)
    • have passed degree/diploma in 2020 or after 2020
    Benefits

    The selected technical (diploma) apprentices will receive INR 12,000 per month and graduate (degree) apprentices will receive INR 15,000 per month.

    How can you apply?

    The eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship using the below-mentioned details -
    Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
    Step 2: Click on the ‘Enroll’ tab' on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
    Step 3: Fill in the required details to enrol on the NATS portal. (Note - The applicants who are already registered can log in using valid credentials.)
    Step 4: After successfully enrolling on the NATS portal, log in using valid credentials.
    Step 5: On the home page, click on the 'Establishment Requests' tab and select the option 'Find Establishment' from the drop-down menu.
    Step 6: Now click on 'Find Establishment' below the page appears with two 'Search Criterions' i.e. options to search by 1) Preferences and 2) Establishment Name.
    Step 7: Among the search criterion options select Establishment Name, type 'AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA' and click on the option 'Search'.
    Step 8: Click on the Establishment name “AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA” (First column) & Region-NORTHERN REGION and select 'Apply' button given on the page.
    Step 9: After clicking on the 'Apply' button a message appears as given below 'Successfully applied for the training position'.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the merit list.

Terms and Conditions
  • The candidates will have to undergo apprenticeship training at notified airports.
  • The candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship or terminated their apprenticeship midway or are pursuing in other organizations, shall not be eligible for the apprenticeship.
  • The candidates who had job experience for a period of 1 year or more after the attainment of essential qualifications, shall not be eligible to apply for the apprenticeship.
  • The candidates should register themselves with the concerned portal (NATS) before applying for apprenticeship training in AAI.
  • No TA/DA will be provided.
  • The reservation for SC/ST, OBC and EWS as applicable will be followed, however, in case of non-availability of candidates in the reserved category, it will be filled from other reserved categories/general categories.
  • The candidates must take sole responsibility to get their profile verified by the respective regional Board. 
  • The candidates must apply for only one post.
  • The candidates are not required to pay the application fee.
  • The candidature may cancel if the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information.
  • The selected candidates will be called for interview/document verification through their registered email IDs.
  • After the selection, the candidates will be posted at the given locations in Northern Region based on their registration location.
