The A.R.T.E.S Graduate School for the Humanities, University of Cologne invites applications from postgraduate students in arts and humanities to award nine integrated track doctoral scholarships. Under this structured model, the doctoral students will be able to complete the best quality dissertation within 3 years in an active interdisciplinary research environment.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -
- Be holding any postgraduate degree in humanities or arts.
- Have obtained an average grade of at least 2.0 as per the German grading system.
- Be excellent in academics.
- Be in the process of developing his/her doctoral dissertation project.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through following steps -
Step 1: Download the application form in PDF format from here.
Step 2: Fill in all required details.
Step 3: Attach all supporting documents in one PDF file.
Step 4: Email both application form and documents file at artes-application@uni-koeln.de.

- Scan copy of university final degree (diploma) and transcript of records.
- Report on MA thesis
- Research proposal in about 7000 to 12000 characters plus appendix and bibliography.
- Report of an expert on the doctoral dissertation project.
