Aspire Scholarship Program 2023-24

The selected scholars will be reimbursed for the amount paid by them towards tuition, hostel, mess, and other components (as per the defined fee structure of the college). The scholars must upload the receipts of the paid fees, based on which the reimbursement will be credited to the scholar's account, using the account details provided in the scholarship application form.

The scholarship will be renewed on a yearly basis, subject to satisfying the renewal criteria.

For cases where the scholar has paid the complete year's fee at the time of admission, they will be reimbursed for the entire year. However, the reimbursement to scholars can be made in a maximum of two installments per year (i.e., on a semester basis), considering that in some cases, payments to the institutions are made by the scholars on a semester basis. In such cases, the scholar will need to upload the fee receipts in the scholarship tracking system on a semester basis, and the amount will be reimbursed accordingly. It is the scholar's responsibility to upload the receipts on time to ensure timely reimbursements.

No, only students studying in B.Tech. programs are eligible to apply.

Yes, the scholarship is subject to yearly renewal and the assessment will be done every year until the completion of the course. The scholars will be assessed on qualitative and quantitative parameters to judge their excellence on the academic and leadership front. They are required to fulfil the following criteria for scholarship renewal in subsequent years: 

• Minimum 6.00 CGPA and equivalent in all the preceding semester(s) 
• Should not have any backlog in the year of consideration
• Must have passed all the courses offered in the semester(s) prior to the year of consideration

The scholars are thus required to upload the following documents in the online scholar tracking system to receive the scholarship for subsequent years:

• Marksheet certifying the academic performance of the scholars 
• Self-declaration undertaking & code of conduct policy from scholars
• Proof of continuity of education in the subsequent year
• Proof of tuition fee paid receipts for the current academic year

NOTE: 

• SWAYAM Charitable trust may at its sole discretion can change/relax the criteria of renewal without any prior intimation to the scholars
• In a situation, where student/family is not able to pay the institute & provide fee receipts, they can submit Fees letter (issued by institute) to get the scholarship amount in advance. However, they need to submit the final receipts in online scholar tracking system. 
• Final decision of subsequent year scholarship renewal for existing scholars will lie with the SWAYAM Charitable Trust.
