University of Birmingham India Chancellor's Scholarships 2024-25

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and academic records.

Note:- The University of Birmingham prioritise academic merit in its selection process. Only in rare cases where awardees cannot be determined solely on academic grounds, an online interview will be conducted as an additional assessment step for the selection of the candidates.

• Applicants must have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, along with any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
• Students must pay their tuition fees for the first year by November 1st, 2024, just after starting their studies in September.
• University scholarships are subject to continue upon enrollment in the academic program. Recipients withdrawing from their studies will forfeit the scholarship and will be liable to pay any outstanding tuition fees. The amount owed depends on the withdrawal date and program type, as determined by Taught Student Administration.
• Scholarship recipients deferring their program start date to September 2025 will forfeit eligibility for the University of Birmingham India Chancellor's Scholarships, as the award is strictly reserved for programs commencing in September 2024.
• The University of Birmingham India Chancellor's Scholarships are not available for students enrolled in postgraduate programs delivered solely through distance learning.
• Upon receiving the scholarship, awardees hold a responsibility to contribute to the University's advancement. This may involve sharing their story through profiles and testimonials, and serving as ambassadors for the University when requested. Their contributions will ideally span a reasonable timeframe within the bounds of practicality.
