The Honourable Prime Minister in his “Mann Ki Baat” announced an Essay Competition on Swachh Sankalp Se Swachh Siddhi for the year 2017. It is being organized as another major step in making Swachhta a Jan Aandolan. Interested candidates have to write an essay of not more than 250 words on the topic "What can I do for a Clean India?" The essay could be in any of the given languages using a hashtag along with the name of the language. The essay must also contain the state of domicile using a hashtag. The senior citizens (above 60 years) and differently abled will apply using the hashtags #senior and #differentlyabled, respectively.

How can you apply? The application can be done online only by following these steps:
Step 1: Interested candidates can read the details before applying.
Step 2: Login to submit the task.
Step 3: Click on "Register Now" and fill all the credentials: Full name, email, mobile, date of birth, gender, click "Create a new account".
Step 4: Submit the task.

- Three winners will be awarded at the national level. Awards will also be given at the State and District levels.
- Senior and Differently abled are encouraged to apply and will be given special recognition at the national awards.

Language: It is mandatory to use the hashtag (#) along with the language. Interested candidate have to write the essay in any of these language only.
