SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2024-25 is an opportunity provided by the State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation in partnership with various reputed NGOs for bachelor’s degree holders under the age group of 21-32 years. The fellowship is offered to India's brightest young minds as an opportunity to go live and work amongst rural communities to help solve pressing rural development challenges. It attracts young leaders who experience a transformative leadership journey during the fellowship. The fellows selected for the fellowship will receive ₹70,000 and other benefits.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2024-25
Deadline21-May-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be Indian or overseas citizen of India
- be between the age group of 21 and 32 years as of the date of commencement of the programme
- have completed at least a bachelor's degree before the commencement of the program
Note to OCI Candidates:- In case the applicant does not possess an OCI card currently, please visit the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for OCI registration. As the process takes at least 1-3 months, it is recommended that the applicant apply for it as soon as the initiation of the Fellowship application.
Benefits The selected applicants will receive the following benefits:-
- A monthly allowance of ₹15,000 for the duration of the programme to meet living expenses.
- A monthly allowance of ₹1000 for the duration of the programme to meet transport expenses.
- A monthly allowance of ₹1000 for the duration of the programme to meet project-related expenses.
- A dedicated provision for language support at the location.
- A readjustment allowance of ₹70,000 upon successful & satisfactory completion of the fellowship.
- The cost of 3AC train fare from residence to the project site location and expenses incurred on travelling for training programmes.
- A health and personal accident insurance policy.
- Assistance from local NGO staff to find accommodation.
- An SBI Youth for India team member for overall support & guidance.
- Mentorship by experienced professionals in the field.
- Access to the community through well-established Partner NGOs.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship using the steps listed below:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply Now' button and click on it.
Step 4: Fill the required details and click on 'Submit'.
Step 5: A link will be sent on the registered email to begin with the 'Online Assessment Stage'. Fill in the application form with all the required details, answer the essay questions and upload the relevant documents.
Step 6: Submit the application.

Selection Criteria
The selection panel will make informed decisions on the selection of candidates based on factors beyond academic qualifications and work experience and gain a deeper understanding of the person by interviewing them.
Terms and Conditions
- SBI Youth for India does not offer any job post the completion of the 13-month programme.
- The selected fellows need to stay in the project location for the entire duration. There is no scope for part-time participation.
- The fellowship continuously engages with the shortlisted applicants over an online forum to know them better and clarify their doubts.
- While answering the essay questions in the application form, there is a timestamp of 60 minutes for feeding responses to all three questions.
- The online assessment should be completed and submitted within 10 days of receiving the invitation.
