The University of South Florida invites applications for the President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Fellowship 2017. This fellowship is for those students who are post-graduated from India and wanted to pursue PhD from the University of Florida. Before applying for the fellowship, applicants need to generate university id number. Interested students must have to submit two letter of references from an academic or professional letterhead. Scholars will get a tuition fee waiver for up to four years, a stipend of $18,000 over the 9 months period and $2,000 per month for up to four years.

- Must have a university id number at the University of South Florida (USF).
How can you apply? The application can be done online first and then by email by the following steps:
Step 1: Go to the website.
Step 2: Read all the details there.
Step 3: Generate your University of South Florida (USF id) number by giving your name, email id and password from here.
Step 4: Now, click on create a new account.
Step 5: USF id will be sent to your email id.
Step 6: Fill the form completely.
Step 7: Attach these four documents:
- Statement of Purpose outlining your interest in this fellowship and your interest of subject for PhD.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae including academic and scholarly activity.
- Statement on intended research for your PhD degree.
- Two letters of recommendation on academic and/or professional letterhead.
Step 8: The form along with all the document should be sent by email to KalamFellowship@usf.edu by 1st March 2017.

Apply to the academic program as early as possible and the dates may vary up to the program. The decisions will be announced in the mid of the May 2017.
