Pre Matric Scholarship for SC, ST, BC Students, Jharkhand 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Government of Jharkhand to students studying in Classes 1 to 10 in a recognised institution of Jharkhand. The objective of this scholarship scheme is to minimise the school dropout rate of students belonging to SC, ST, and BC. The selected students will receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 4,500 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be studying in Classes 1 to 10 in an approved institution/school within Jharkhand/recognised by the Government of Jharkhand/competent authority
- belong to either from Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) or Backward Class (BC) category
- have an annual family income below INR 2,50,000
Benefits The students will receive the awards in the following manner -
Class Hostlers (per month) Day Scholars (per month) 1-5 INR 1,500 INR 1,500 6-8 INR 2,500 INR 2,000 9-10 INR 4,500 INR 4,500 Note - Students will receive the scholarship amount for a duration of 10 months only.

- Marksheets and certificates
- Caste certificates (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to register. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Registration of Pre-Matric applications' tab and click it. (Note- Candidates already registered can log in using valid credentials)
Step 4: Fill in all the required details and click on the 'Verify Aadhaar Details' tab.
Step 5: Once verified, apply for the scholarship from the listing.
Step 6: Fill in the application, upload the relevant documents and click on the 'Submit' button.
Important Dates
Application Start Date - 20th July 2023
Application End Date - 20th October 2023
Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
