Post Doctoral Research Fellowship, IIM Calcutta 2017-18 invites application for the applicants who hold Ph.D. Degree within five years of completion and age should be a maximum of 35 years with the objective to contribute to the theory and practice of management. The fellowship will be for a period of 2 years and the selected fellows will get a stipend of Rs 40000 and a contingency Rs 50000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Applicants who hold Ph.D. Degree within five years of completion are eligible to apply and the thesis must be in appropriate disciplines.
- Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
- The age should be a maximum of 35 years (this limit may be relaxed by 5 years for women and reserved category applicants).

Documents to be required:
- A two-page write‐up on the intended Research work at IIMC.
- At least two letters of recommendation/reference from peers regarding the research capabilities and other attributes.
- No objection certificate/relief certificate from the present employer (if currently employed).
- Photocopies of the Degree certificates.
- Photocopies of two best journal papers.
- Specify Sub Caste and attach at least copy of a certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
Note:
- The shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and the final selection made by a Committee. In selecting the applicants, the Committee will strive to match the research proposals from the applicants with the research interests of internal faculty.
- Applicants shortlisted for the interview will be reimbursed Return AC –II train fare for the interview.
- If anyone wants to apply to more than one group, they should apply separately for each group.
Duration:
The duration of the fellowship will be for a period of 2 years, with the continuation of fellowship in the 2nd year subject to satisfactory performance in the first year. In no case will the fellowship be extended beyond two years.
