Marathi Science Research Council (Marathi Vidnyan Parishad) invites applications from college students for Marathi Vidnyan Parishad Science Research Contest 2017. This contest aims to promote interest in research amongst the youngsters.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - The contest is open to anybody who is less than 25 years of age on 31/12/2016 and will not possess any degree until this date.
- However, a candidate should be a college student (S.S.C. passed) studying any of the disciplines.
- In the case of integrated postgraduation course, students who are studying in first 3 years can only participate in this contest.
- Students must be studying in any college of Maharashtra and Goa. Students of any college located in Vadodara of Gujarat and Belangavi/Nippani district of Karnataka are also eligible.
How can you apply? Procedure to apply for the scholarship:

Step3: Attach all the required documents.
Step 4: Finally, submit the application form.
Terms and Conditions
There are three awards of INR 12,000 each. The awards are named as
(i) Parashuram Bajee Agashe Vidnyan Sanshodhan Puraskar,
(ii) Leela Parashuram Agashe Vidnyan Sanshodhan Puraskar, and
(iii) Sharad Naik Vidnyan Sanshodhan Puraskar.
- A special award of INR 2000 will be given if the winning project is carried out under the guidance of an expert.
- The maximum duration of each presentation will be 15 minutes.
- The number of awards may be reduced to less than 3 if the number of projects submitted is small or sub-standard.
