KSCSTE Engineering & Technology Programme 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE) [an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science &Technology, Government of Kerala] to the faculties of Engineering colleges and scientists from Research Institutions/Research laboratories. The selected candidates will receive a maximum research grant of INR 30 lakhs for a maximum duration of 3 years for the selected projects.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, a candidate must -
- be a regular faculty in Research Centres/Scientists in R&D Institutions, Engineering Departments of Universities, Government/Aided Colleges in Kerala and under the scheme of PI/Co-I
- have more than 5 years of service period left before superannuation at the time of submission of project proposal
- have a Ph.D degree in the research subject
- have a Ph.D degree in Engineering (for PI)
- have a Master’s Degree in relevant research field (for Co-Is)
Benefits The candidates with approved projects are entitled to receive up to INR 30 lakhs for a maximum duration of 3 years.

- A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/voter identity card/driving license/PAN card)

Selection Criteria
Candidates are required to submit their pre-proposals initially. After reviewing and scrutinising it, the PIs will be shortlisted based on the pre-proposals submitted.

Terms and Conditions
- Candidates should strictly follow word limits given in the format.
- Pre-proposals that do not fulfill the guidelines, submitted offline or submitted without completing shall be rejected.
- There should be a Co-Investigator from the same Institution of Principal Investigator.
- There can be more than one Co-I for Inter-disciplinary research projects.
- Research students/scholars cannot apply for the scheme.
