IIT Roorkee CHANAKYA Fellowship (Junior Research Fellowship) 2021 is an initiative for B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on a project entitled - "Development of Hack-free Hydro Plant Control Systems". The selected fellow will receive a variable award.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale
or 70% marks OR - Hold a B.E./B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 7.50 on a 10-point scale or
75% marks - Be GATE/NET qualified
Note: Bachelors or Masters from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above on a 10 scale point scale are exempted from the requirement of GATE/NET.

- No TA/DA is not admissible.
- The date and timing of the interview will be shared with the shortlisted candidates only.
- The selected candidate will get an opportunity to pursue Ph.D. programme (once the project is over the candidate will be given MHRD Fellowship as per the institute policy).
- After shortlisting, candidates will be called for the Interview.
- The candidates appearing for the interview should bring the following documents:
- Cover letter with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degrees/certificates obtained.
- Experience including research, industrial fields and others.
