Foundation for a Just Society in collaboration with the International Reporting Project announced Global Journalism Fellowship 2016. The fellowship will be between 2 to 7 weeks duration, in which a reporter or journalists has to make a report of 1000 words on Women Rights or LGBTI Rights. The reports which they present will describe the stories they would produce at the time of fellowship.
Applicants will be selected through a telephonic round of interview. Minimum age should be 21 to participate in this and there is no maximum age limit. Stipend amount will vary according to the location to which the fellow is traveling.
Applicants can choose these topics:
• gender- and orientation-based discrimination and violence;
• migration;
• human trafficking;
• early marriage;
• the role of culture and religion;
• reproductive, sexual and maternal health;
• vulnerability to and leadership on climate change;
• education;
• the effects of conflict upon marginalized communities.

Step 1: Applicants have to fill the form from here
Step 2: In the first step of the form, the applicant has to provide the name, email id, phone number, address and date of birth.
Step 3: In the second step of the form, the applicant has to give details about education and the work.
Step 4: In the third step, the applicant has to give details about the project, like trip duration, synopsis of the project, budget, and three professional references.
Step 5: Click on submit button.

Staffs and freelancers alike are urged to apply. The fellowships are expected for professional journalists who have worked for quite a long time as experts and who have a record of exceptional accomplishment in reporting for compelling media outlets. (This fellowship is not planned for students for recent graduates without professional reporting background.)
