Delhi Ladli Scheme 2017

Delhi Ladli Scheme 2017 is a scheme active under the Department of Women and Child Development, New Delhi. It invites applications from girl children who are born in the last 1-year and must be a resident of Delhi. Some of the objectives of this scheme is to empower the girl child socially, economically and also promote their birth registration in Delhi. Each eligible child will receive up to INR 11,000 per year as financial support.

  • The girl should be born in Delhi and should have birth certificate issued by the Registrar (Births & Deaths), MCD or NDMC.
  • The child must be a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least 3 years preceding the date of birth.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 1 lac.
  • The girl, who is school going, must be studying in a school recognised by Delhi Government/MCD/NDMC.
  • The scheme is limited to 2 surviving girls per family.

The application can be completed by a person by following the given steps:
Step 1: Download
the form or obtain it from district offices (Department of Social Welfare/ WCD, Government of Delhi) or State Bank of India or Government recognised schools.
Step 2: Fill in all the details.
Step 3: Attach all the required documents.
Step 4: Then, submit it to the concerned District Officer.

Please note: Completely filled-in application form must be submitted-

  • For School going girl: Within 90 days of admission of the girl
  • For Newborn girl: Within the year of birth
