Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of the H T Parekh Foundation that aims to help high-performing students from lesser privileged backgrounds overcome financial barriers and successfully pursue their education. This scholarship not only supports students facing economic crises but also aims to provide additional assistance such as mentorship and access to career counselling programs in the future. The scholarship fund is specifically dedicated to covering various academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, learning devices or aids, books, stationery, and more.
The H T Parekh Foundation was established in 2012 as the philanthropic arm of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (now merged with HDFC Bank), to commemorate its Founder Chairman Shri Hasmukh Thakordas Parekh’s significant contribution towards the development sector in India. The Foundation works in partnership with non-profit organisations across India in the focus areas of Education, Healthcare, Environment and Disability.
Badhte Kadam Scholarship for Professional Graduation Students 2023-24
Deadline20-Nov-2023 Eligibility Read More- Open to students who have completed Class 12 and are currently pursuing professional graduation courses such as B.Tech., MBBS, B.Arch, Nursing, BA-LLB, Fashion, BBA, BCA, etc. from recognized colleges or universities in India.
- Applicants must have scored at least 70% marks in their previous class or board exams.
- The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6 lakh from all sources.
- Students from Pan-India are eligible to apply.
Note:
- Preference will be given to girl students and existing Badhte Kadam scholars for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23.
- Priority will be given to students experiencing crises, such as the loss of a parent/both parents or a terminal illness in the family.

- Students must be pursuing general or professional graduation courses from recognized colleges/universities in India.
- Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- The annual family income of applicants should be below INR 6 lakh from all sources.
- Students from Pan-India are eligible to apply.

The selection of scholars for Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24 is a multi-stage process where students are selected on the basis of their academic merit and socio-economic background. All the applications are reviewed & selected on a rolling basis. Details of the selection process are mentioned below:

- Final selection by the scholarship provider
If selected, how will I receive the scholarship fund?
The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the scholars'/parents' bank account.
I have already received this scholarship for the academic year 2022-23. Am I eligible to apply for this year as well?
Yes, scholars from both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 batches are eligible to re-apply for this scholarship.
