About The Program
The Zonta Amelia Earhart Fellowship 2026 is offered by Zonta International. The fellowship is a prestigious financial award designed to support outstanding women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences. Selected candidates will receive an award of up to USD 10,000 (approx ₹880324.31) annually.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a woman of any nationality
- be registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program in aerospace engineering or space sciences and have completed at least one year of study OR
- have received a master’s degree in an aerospace-applied field at the time the application is submitted
- not graduate from their doctoral program before April 2027
Note:- Post-doctoral research programs are not eligible for the Fellowship.
Benefits
The selected students will receive a fellowship of USD 10,000 (approx ₹880324.31) for study towards tuition fee, books, or living expenses.

- Previous Amelia Earhart Fellows are not eligible to apply to renew the Fellowship for a second year.
- Applicants must be registered for a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program by 15 November 2025 and must not graduate before April 2027.
