WFN Junior Travelling Fellowships 2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be a neurologist in training or early in their career
• be from a country classified by the World Bank as low- or lower-middle-income
• be no older than 45 years of age at the time of application
• hold a post not above that of Associate Professor
• hold an M.D. degree or equivalent medical degree
• have submitted an abstract for the conference

Note: The transfer of a successful grant award to a different congress is not possible. Please do not apply for meetings taking place before April 01, 2026.

The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of up to £1,000 (approx. ₹1,21,986.80).

• Bibliography
• Letter of recommendation from the head of the department
• Estimate of expenses (maximum £1,000)
• Copy of submitted abstract for the conference
• Name and dates of the meeting to be attended
