About The Program

Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement Scholarship for Socially and Economically Backwards Category (SEBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Students, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Maharashtra. This scholarship offers financial assistance to eligible SEBC and EWS students, covering up to 100% of their course fees.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to the Socially and Economically Backwards Class (SEBC) and the Open category (Economically Weaker Section - EWS)
  • have been admitted through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) or Private ITIs
  • have been admitted through the Central Online Admission Process
  • have been admitted to a course approved by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), New Delhi or the Maharashtra State Council for Vocational Training (MSCVT)
  • not have availed of any benefit for a course previously from a Government or Private ITI
  • not have availed any benefit from training programs sponsored by the State/Central Government/Department/Local Body/Company or Corporation
  • have an annual family income of more than ₹2,50,000 but less than or equal to ₹8,00,000
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:-

  • Candidates with a total family income between ₹2,50,000 and ₹8,00,000 will receive an 80% reimbursement of their private/government institute course fee.
  • Candidates with a total family income of ₹2,50,000 or less will receive a 100% reimbursement of their private/government institute course fee.

  • Domicile certificate
  • Income certificate issued by a competent authority
  • Previous year's marksheet (if applying for renewal)
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidate will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • No scholarships are provided for Management Quota admissions.
  • Orphan candidates must submit a recommendation letter.
  • Only two children from the same family are eligible for the scholarship.
  • Selected students must adhere to the renewal policy and submit an annual report of their academic progress to renew the scholarship.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory attendance and academic progress. Failure to do so may result in scholarship termination.
  • Candidates must attend every semester/exam. Medical emergencies must be certified by the institute's regional joint director.
