Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement for OBC, SEBC, VJNT & SBC Students, Maharashtra 2023-24 is being offered by the OBC, SEBC, VJNT & SBC Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to minority category students. The selected candidates will receive 80% of course fees.

Deadline30-Apr-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC), Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) & Special Backward Category (SBC) category
- have taken admission in the Directorate General of Training (DGT), New Delhi, or Manufacturing, Skills and Certification Vocational Training (MSCVT)-approved courses
- have taken admission through the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme in Government Skill Development institutes or private institute
- have an annual family income of ₹8,00,000
Note:- Students must not have previously received any benefit for the same or a similar course from any other institution.
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a scholarship that covers 80% of their tuition fees at a private institute. This scholarship is available for both students who passed their SSC exams and those who did not.

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'.
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions
- The benefit is applicable to only 2 children.
- The candidates must fulfil the mandatory attendance criteria.
- The candidates must attend each semester/annual exam.
- A recommendation by the institute's Regional Joint Director is required in case of any medical emergency.
- Candidates who do not fulfil the attendance criteria will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- The candidates who belong to the management quota will not receive the benefit of fee reimbursement.
- The candidates must provide the relevant caste certificate.
- The candidate should not have taken any benefit from a training program sponsored by State/Central Government/Department/Local Body/Company or Corporation.
- The candidates with non-satisfactory educational progress due to misconduct-failure in the academic year will lead to cancellation of the reimbursement of the fee.
- Candidates are required to participate in each semester/annual exam. In the case of a medical emergency, certification or recommendation by the Regional Joint Director is necessary after endorsement by the institute.
