About The Program
The vivo Ignite: Technology & Innovation Initiatives is a national platform aimed at nurturing young innovators and inspiring future technology leaders. In collaboration with its partners, vivo India provides students with opportunities to explore ideas, develop solutions, and address pressing challenges for India.
The initiative focuses on:
- Empowering future innovators
- Promoting sustainable innovation
- Driving social impact
Over the past three editions, vivo Ignite has engaged over 60,000 children across 10,000 schools in more than 650 districts. With over 10,000 project submissions, the program has awarded more than ₹60 lakhs in scholarships and rewards.
Building on this strong foundation, the 4th edition (2026) aims to further scale the programme’s reach and deepen its impact, continuing to add to its achievements and progress in empowering young innovators across the country.
EligibilityDeadline Date: 10-Jun-2026
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a student pursuing studies in grades 8-12
- be under 18 years of age
- follow the program theme "Tech for Good: Transforming Communities Through Technology and Innovation”
Note: Home-schooled, NIOS, or any other open school system students are also eligible.
Benefits
Individual participants:
- 1st Prize: ₹4,00,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹3,00,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹2,00,000
- 4th Prize: ₹1,50,000
- 5th Prize: ₹75,000
Group participants:
- 1st Prize: ₹9,00,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹6,00,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹4,50,000
- 4th Prize: ₹3,00,000
- 5th Prize: ₹1,50,000
- All participants who submit their posters and write-ups will receive Online Participation Certificates.
- All 200 participants from Stage 2 will receive a certificate and exciting goodies.
- Consistent top performers across the five quiz editions will also be rewarded with goodies and certificates.
